When the original equipment supplier couldn't build infeed/outfeed tracks for their centerless grinders, RCD was able to design and build custom tracks for the end customer that featured several innovations to make operation and maintenance easier.
A Special Process machine built for less than the customer had allotted to repair their old machine. An emphasis on user-friendliness and low maintenance make it versatile and easy to keep running. Numerous design improvements ensure consistent products and greater workplace safety.
This press was a thorough rebuild with significant upgrades. We added a complete control system, featuring full servomotor drive, operator touch screen and numerous operator aids that simplify setup and speed operation. It now runs automatically, freeing the operator for other tasks.

An in-line measuring station that integrated with the customer's existing production line and provides production rates and continuous thickness data.
An enclosed Booth designed to automatically spray an entire rack of parts, top to bottom, without any electricity. All controls and actuators are pneumatic for intrinsically safe operation.
This small bucket roller has paid big dividends in process safety and operator convenience. The customer needed to mix small batches of chemicals at very low controlled speeds. This machine fit the bill and has improved ergonomics as well.
